You never really own your wedding album,
you merely look after it for the next generation.
Digital photography allows us to easily view our images on phones, computers or the internet, but it also allows us just as easily to loose them. One broken hard drive can instantly delete years of photographic memories and even some of my clients already had the misfortune of misplacing their digital files – lucky I always keep a backup of each wedding I photograph.
So when you imagine yourself twenty years from now, ask yourself how you would like to be able to view your images? Do you want to rely on digital technology, hoping it will have stood the test of time? Or do you want to be able to hold your images in your hands, masterfully printed?
I believe a high quality album is the most beautiful and timeless way to present and preserve your wedding photographs: regardless of what happens with technology, you know you will always be able to view it and share it with your family.
The albums I offer are made to become family heirlooms – they are custom designed, hand-crafted and bound in luxurious leather (natural or vegan). Each image is printed on silver halide photographic paper (the gold standard of photographic printing, designed to last more than 200 years) and the elegant semi-gloss paper surface offers ultimate protection from dust, fingerprints and even water.
